Indigenous Culture

As The Township of Langley is located on the traditional and unceded territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Matsqui, and Semiahmoo First Nations, we acknowledge our responsibility to honour their heritage and the land that they steward.

The area has many ways to connect with the culture, art, and stories of the people who have been here since time immemorial. We encourage you to explore this important heritage, and consider your role in a diverse community that respects and celebrates the people that came before us.

With the resources below, you can learn from, listen to, and converse with local Indigenous people and stories.
